What can I do in Berlin?
Berlin is a remarkably diverse city with thriving art, music and food scenes, as well as being the centrepiece of the reunited Germany. Being comprised of what was once two cities, Berlin occupies a huge 900km2 and is home to 3.5 million people.
OFF THE WALL
There is no denying the city’s turbulent past and the shadow of the Berlin Wall looms large. Visitors able to undertake cycling tours along the Wall trail, participate in Cold War guided walks and enjoy the open-air gallery, which stretches along 1.3km of the east side of the Wall and features more than 100 paintings.
CULTURE TRIP
Berlin is a dynamic, cultural city, with museums, verdant green space, vibrant nightlife, quirky boutiques and high-end designer shopping to rival Milan. The city enjoys food from every corner of the world and boasts 23 Michelin Stars. There is also a burgeoning street food scene (that obviously includes the ubiquitous Currywurst!)
