To our Global CWIEME Community,

Unfortunately, CWIEME Berlin, currently scheduled for 22-24 June of this year, will have to be cancelled. Large scale events in Germany are still prohibited by the federal and local governments and these restrictions are unlikely to be removed in time for the event to take place, with the result that cancellation is now unavoidable.

We considered moving the event to later in the year. However, this was not considered realistic for a number of reasons, particularly given recent reports of COVID-19 cases rising in several countries with the result that travel restrictions are likely to remain in place for some months to come.  Due to our next CWIEME Berlin event already planned for May 2022, we have decided, following consultation with you – our community – that a full year cancellation is the best decision for all concerned. Our number one goal is to ensure a successful event for our global community, with the expected volume and quality of exhibitors and visitors to promote business and enable innovations across the supply chain.

We invite you and all those involved in the coil winding, transformer, electric motor, generator and e-mobility supply chain throughout Europe and the world to join us in Berlin, 10-12 May 2022.

We would like to thank you for your patience and for your continued support. Work has already started on CWIEME Berlin 2022 to continue providing our community with the leading global platform to connect, learn, network and, most importantly, to do business.

In the meantime, we’re also expanding our digital offering. This year will see quarterly online events, each one with a different sector focus. Having already hosted our very successful E-Mobility Days in February, I would like to invite you to Transformer Days, 22-23 June 2021. Watch this space for more information, as well as our autumn and winter programme, will be published in the next few weeks.
