London, UK, March 19, 2019 - CWIEME Berlin, the world's largest electric motor and transformer manufacturing event again welcomes submissions for the CWIEME Global Awards, this year headline sponsored by DuPont™. DuPont™ in partnership with CWIEME have also introduced a new award category for e-motor design, recognizing achievements in the electric motor industry. The new E-Motor Design of the Year Award seeks out the best in e-motor design and innovation, specifically addressing the growing electrification of the automotive industry.

Together with this new category, the CWIEME Awards 2019 will be given out in eight categories, including Product of the Year, Engineer of the Year, CWIEME Global Outreach, Evolution 4.0, Start-up of the year, Outstanding Contribution to Industry, Grand prix award, and best E-Motor Design.

Entering and winning a CWIEME Global Award is an excellent way of boosting brand awareness, attracting new customers and rewarding the outstanding work of employees and teams to obtain global recognition. Winners of the CWIEME Global Awards 2018 include Finvacon, Tempel Steel, Koob Testsystems, and Tecsystem. The award "Engineer of the Year" was won by Allan van Hoecke, Opti-Consult, and the "Product of the Year" award went in 2018 to bdtronic for the company's B8300 impregnation machine.

The CWIEME Awards are free to enter and open to any individual, company or organisation anywhere in the world. The submission deadline is April 1.

To be able to judge each entry effectively, each award will be limited to a total of 50 entries. Once this figure has been reached the entry opportunity will close; even if this is before the final deadline date. The winners will be announced in Berlin at ‘The CWIEME Global Awards' presentation & reception on May 22, 2019.
