Winners of the CWIEME Global Awards 2019 announced at presentation ceremony at CWIEME Berlin on May 22nd.

London, UK, May 24, 2019 - CWIEME Berlin, the world's largest event dedicated to coil winding, electric motors, transformers, and generators, is proud to announce the winners of the CWIEME Global Awards 2019, selected by a jury of industry experts. The CWIEME Awards 2019 were given out in six categories, including Product of the Year, Evolution 4.0, Start-up of the Year, Outstanding Contribution to Industry, and best E-Motor Design of the Year in partnership with DuPont.

The jury selected the winners of each category as well as the Grand Prix ‘Winner of Winners' award. The following teams and projects were awarded for their outstanding work and received the prestigious awards on the CWIEME Central stage:

• Product of the Year: breuckmann eMobility GmbH, Germany, with its entry ‘The Sustainable High-Performance Rotor‘
• Evolution 4.0: AIDA, Japan, with its winning entry ‘AIDA Information Care System – AiCARE' 
• Start-up of the Year: Volabo GmbH, Germany 
• Outstanding contribution to industry: Motor Design Ltd, UK - Dave Staton, Founder & Company President
• E-Motor Design of the Year: Volabo GmbH, Germany,
  with their winning entry ‘ISCAD - Intelligent Stator Cage Drive‘.
• Grand Prix Winners of Winners award also went to Volabo GmbH
